HONORARY GIFTS

An honorary gift is a meaningful way to pay tribute to a living person. It may honor a special occasion or achievement or acknowledge the honoree’s importance in your life. Any type of gift can be designated as an honorary gift. As a courtesy, the Stillman Foundation will notify the individual that you have made a gift in his/her honor.

Make your donation, then contact us to provide the honoree’s name and mailing address for the courtesy card.

MEMORIAL GIFTS

Memorial gifts are a special way to honor a loved one who has passed away. By supporting the Stillman Foundation, these gifts ensure a legacy for the deceased that extends far into the future. Any type of gift can be designated as a memorial gift. As a courtesy, the Stillman Foundation will notify the family of the deceased that you have made a gift in their loved one’s memory.

To make a memorial gift, make your donation, then contact us to provide the deceased’s name and the family’s mailing address. If you would like to list gifts to the Stillman Foundation in an obituary, please contact us so that we can ensure gifts are properly routed and acknowledged.

PLANNED GIVING

The Legacy of the Stillman Foundation is one of excellence, tradition and pride. The generous donors who contribute to the Stillman Foundation are vital to the continuing legacy and future financial security of Stillman College.

Since its inception, the Stillman Foundation has raised philanthropic funds in support of facilities, scholarships and sports programs. More than ever as we plan a course for a successful future, financial resources are critical to maintaining and challenging further the standard that has been created. As such, private funding is vital to building and sustaining the level of excellence synonymous with Stillman College. 

A planned gift to the Stillman Foundation will help Stillman College, over the coming decades, continue to inspire and educate the nation’s best and brightest students, provide them with unparalleled support and access to a world-class education.

IN KIND GIFTS OR DONATIONS

Gifts-in-kind are gifts of property that are voluntarily transferred by a donor to Stillman Foundation without compensation. These gifts may include equipment, vehicles, materials, supplies, artwork, and other personal property a donor might give to Stillman College for use in its educational programs or to the Stillman Foundation for use in its annual auction or employee campaign.

If the item donated to Stillman College is sold, transferred or disposed of within three years from the date of the gift, the department shall notify Purchasing and the Stillman Foundation in writing, within one week of the sale, so the Foundation can comply with IRS regulations in reporting such a transaction.
